Robles had a bad game at Sunderland as did everyone else that night last season, otherwise he has been fine.

Good game yesterday and I hope he can consolidate the spot.

It's called "narrowing the angle" if he was stood on his line then he might not have reached it. Was a good effort by noble tbf but it was also a perfect save .

My memory failed me. Saw the replay and he wasn't as far out as I thought. Not even close. I've had a bit of a mare here.

He's a tall lad Joel so should imagine he's well equipped in that department.

That was under Martinez and yes he was MOTM in the game year refer to. My point was that koeman obviously doesn't rate him otherwise he would have played in the LC game. Let's face it all the other 'top' clubs rested their no.1 keepers that round, yet we didn't.

Our no 1 2nd choice when at Southampton- sent on loan to Fulham has dodgy knees not much between either of them TBH other than Robles can get better!
