Joel until the end of the season is fine, then if we can get a top keeper in the summer maybe

koeman wants 3, we seem to be very interested in pickford if reports are to be believed, but the lad is still only 19 so i'd like to see us get a more experienced keeper. Think we'll only buy one to go with our two, but ideally i'd get pickford to play backup to begovic whilst he gets more experience.

This is summer shopping i mean, i can't see us doing anything with the keeper situation this window.

I think if Pickford didn't get injured Moyes might of had a problem keeping him this window for sure!
Yeah this window not really the right one for landing a good keeper, no one with sense would sell now.

He was also doing some impressive keepy ups during a pause in the game in the 2nd half. Maybe we should stick him up front.

He did well and I think people underestimate some of the things he does such as when he came out and blocked the Silva shot.

Yeah that's it, a keeper dosent have the make amazing saves from great shots, just be alert for 90 minutes and do things like that. A big presence in the box is what's needed, I'm not saying he has that right now but he certainly dosent hide and moves fast at times such as that one with Silva.

Made some really important decisions today which kept us in the game. Solid performance. None of this star fish jumping over the ball we were so used to seeing with Coward in goal.

I actually rate him. Certainly a solid number 2. The weird thing IMO is that he takes a couple of games to almost gain "match fitness" and get some confidence. Still need a first choice keeper but doubt that'll be on the cards until the summer.

Nice to see we have a Goalie who can kick it properly. Remember Howards, out of play constantly or with loads of back spin barely reaching half way.

Robles has raised his game with a run of games. Joey was right there. Maybe the new goalkeeping coach has a really positive influence on Robles's development. Credit to Robles himself. Shall keep his place.

I like Robles

Howard was always excellent at the long outlet throw to the flanks to start a counter (LC won the league doing that last year). Then for some reason that was shut down the final 2 seasons of Martinez-ball and we only rolled the ball to the CBs, who then were immediately dispossessed with the high press.

Robles has been perfectly fine, same with Stekleback. Sure there has been a couple mistakes (every keeper has them) but keeping has been solid this year.

To an extent City were ideal opponents for him, as they never really stick crosses into the box, but he did all that was asked of him very well indeed, and you'd easily say he was the better of the two keepers, which given the stature Bravo has in the game is no mean feat.
