i badly want joel to become our number one mate, been championing him for a few years. Think he's improved so so much from when he first signed and i fully believe if given the chance he'll improve even more. He needs long exposure to game time, that's such a vital thing for a goalkeeper at his age.

He is going in the right direction though
Spot on really, though I can't say I've always believed he would become great or anything myself

when i saw him at wigan i thought he had the right physical presence / athleticism but had so much to work on. Which he has to be fair he seems to proper love everton as well which is always a plus!

Definitely loves it, and I'd have said that prior to the city celebration.

Never really watched Wigan bar the odd game, did hear whispers here and there that he was generally quite highly rated as one for the future from prior clubs mind

Last couple of games he's done what our former/other keepers have been slated for not being able to do.
He's plucked crosses out of the sky and closed down shots/attackers very well. Add in that his reflexes/agility seem very good then he's got the makings of a high end keeper.

He came from atletico madrid, was behind de gea

Im not sure whether its more the replacement of Jags with Funes Mori, or Robles, but we have had 4 clean sheets in our last 5 league games.

Another top performance from Robles. A bit like last season's LFC game at Goodison. But he
looks even more comfortable now and his aerial control has got better. His distribution is so smart and
the way he does not panic but uses his head, like the one-on-one against Silva last week, mark him out
as a naturally clever keeper.

Has Robles ever played as bad as Lloris yesterday? No..He has been average in a few games but he has overall
been quite good, often very good and it is clear that he is getting stronger.
