Joel Robles

The last couple of games Joel has produced the bare minimum I'd expect from a competeant keeper. People are now going overboard about him like they did when Stek saved a couple of penalties. That us what years of gash keeperers do to you. Joel is rightly ahead of Stek at the moment but neither are good enough to be first choice at a club pushing for Europe.

I have been one of Joel's critics in the past but I am delighted to see a marked improvement , especially in commanding his area and coming for crosses....as previous posters have said, he is still young and hopefully will have his best years ahead of him...well done son.....

Nice one, yeah he has improved but so has the whole side at the back, they have good chemistry together, you can tell they all trust each other

Considering Liverpool and City dont have a better keeper that it totally flawed

Don't hold back too much lol

Timothy was an utter stain who insulted the fans and was scared of footballs.

Anyway Joel, I'm made up for him as he's one of the more likeable members of our squad, and a solid enough keeper that doesn't make me brown my undies when the ball goes near him.

Agreed.

I still think Joel has potential, he has years ahead of him, with the right coaching could definately compete. However the only way to really prove yourself as a keeper is to have a long-period in goal.

I think we will be okay with Joel/Stek until summer, then we will go all out for a higher class of keeper with those two competing behind them.

No I'm just pointing out how factually your talking total nonsense.

LOL, whatever you may think its your opinion not fact.

You seem to have trouble grasping basic English so I'll make it easy for you.

I think Robles is bang average.

Bang average keepers are not good enough if you want to challenge for Europe.

The fact that other other teams keepers are tosh too doesnt mean that Joel becomes better.

Bravo being tosh could cost his team champions league football. He isnt good enough either.

Hope this helps.
