Fair enough. I'll be honest I missed the first part of it only to turn round and see Robles in no mans land and Berahino's massive massive arse nearly sneek in.

Seriously look at Berahino's massive arse. It's massive.

He's a big old porker isn't he. holy moly

Stop being tedious Joey for the love of God.

Have a look in the other threads, like the Schneiderlin one, for people's opinions on who was man of the match

Definitely looks more reliable than Stekelenburg and he's made so many vital saves since coming in. The only games he's ever done poorly in are the ones in which he's come in after an absence, where he's been rusty, just like any other player would be.

Still not sure about the future but it definitely looks the right decision to give him until the end of the season instead of spunking a load of cash on someone last month. He's definitely making a very good case for himself to be our long-term number 1.

Consistency and dominance of his area. They are his two weaknesses for me.

The first one obviously comes with a run in the team so he can only keep playing there.

I like him, I really do but he can still improve quite a bit on both.

Ok. Fair enough. I thought he dominated his area superbly tonight to be fair.

I just hope he gets the chance to prove his attributes over a long period of games. What would you judge him on?
For me, he has to play all the rest of this season bare minimum.

It's one of them Jinks, look at that Leicester game on Boxing Day. He was like Lev Yashin when balls come into his box. He plucked every cross with dominance and a swagger but he hasn't done that since.

Too many times I find myself going "Catch it, Catch it" and he half punches it away.

I'd just give him the rest of the season anyway, he's better than Stek and we know what we have in him. Give Joel the gloves till the end and see what happens.

He's at least good enough to keep around for another season if we go big on a Pickford in the Summer.
