Joel Robles

What when Baines with his finger up his rectum let him run in unmarked Robles is a keeper not superman!

When the defenders shape up like Laura and Hardy that's the problem why not just pass it back for zrobles to hoof it ?

Your head's fallen off here Joey and Robles has just rolled it to the opposition

Case closed.

Lloris had an even worse shocker against City recently, wouldn't you class him as a good keeper?

I don't rate Lloris as high as some. That's probably why he's playing for Spurs and not PSG/City/Barcelona. Spurs have a mental block as well, it's just nowhere near as chronic as ours.

Robles' only two errors in last few games? Home to Liverpool and away to Spurs. Funny that. Complete coincidence that they happened in the games that make up the 7 fixtures a season we can't compete in.

It's a keepers job to relieve pressure not cause it
Yes but he did not roll it to a white shirt they messed about experienced defenders?
Messed up hoof the ball out or rol it back to Robles ?
Not rocket science if he had give the ball to a white shirt I would understand they were like Laurel and hardy imo!

Not sure I agree, Mikey. Think the saves he made were fairly routine that i'd expect any prem keeper to make. The two mistakes are unforgivable though and ultimately decided the outcome.

This may seem surprising as some on here have conspired to make me out as Joel's harshest critic, but I think that's unfair

Joel has a disaster of a defender in front of him who regularly leaves him exposed. Joel deserves a chance with a better defence IMO

That kicking has to be better though and the fan boys can no longer deny it

The Spurs fans were actively mocking him towards the end of halftime when he went to kick it. It was appalling

A curate's egg of a game from Joel today - dodgy for the goals but made some terrific stops too. Hard to make a judgement on a keeper when those in front of him play so badly.

Spot on this, thing is today fans came pick out any number of players and put the blame on them, all down to personal agendas. If he would of saved the first those blaming him would say it was a routine save, the second it was daft to roll it and as for the third cant expect joel to be awake while the rest are standing around waiting for the final whistle.

Everton were pathetic today, all of them, inc the manager.

If the player is facing the keeper to get the ball, it's the keepers job to spot the ball just isn't on. Why couldn't Robles just hoof it? I think he has been good recently but just as one bad game doesn't make a bad keeper a few good ones doesn't make a good one either, I just need to see more good throughout a season to be convinced. I remain open minded on him lets just say that.

There's not a keeper in this league who doesn't have an off day. He was poor, but dont be too harsh he's been very solid. I just think some of our fans have been waiting for a mistake to jump on him.
He has been really solid but has also been well protected by a defence that allowed few chances to the weaker teams.
Today was his chance to show he's good enough to be No 1 next season and he choked. He'll have another 3 away to top 6 teams and if he doesn't greatly improve in them he'll be replaced by a summer buy like Pickford.

We were under the cosh for long periods. He kept throwing it out quickly and increasing the pressure we were under which was the height of stupidity. If he wants to do that he can [Poor language removed] to brown shoes next club venture in the SPL.

No watch it the ball goes to a blue shirt wrong again as per usual!

Puts his own player under a pointless amount of pressure in a dangerous situation, essentially gifting the opposition a chance on goal

Try and keep up Joey, I appreciate it's difficult on a subject that doesn't involve xenophobia and crippling the British economy, but at least with this one we have replays.

He made some good save in front of a poor defence!

True but should have done better with Kane's first goal and a top keeper needs to judge whether it's safe to roll the ball to certain players. Think Spurs had about 4 players up to press Schneiderlin and Williams for the second goal.

He did keep the score down but his main error for the second goal let him down today. I expect him going back to normal next week. I honestly think Stek would not have done much more than him today.
