He's saved about 90% of the one on ones he's faced which is mental. Sure, he looked poor for the 2nd but then when most of the time he's got those decisions come out and close the angle spot on, it's easier to forgive him. Thought he wasn't great for their first either but the defending was poor.
It is always a bit harsh to single out players when it's a shocking team performance. Almost everyone was abysmal. Morgan wasn't great but I don't suddenly think he's crap. But singling out Joel, who kept the scoreline down massively today with some great saves, seems harsh.
But that's Everton fans. They love their scapegoats and they'll hide when said scapegoats are playing well and crawl out of the woodwork when they do anything sub par.
