Joel Robles

Why because the Dutch one proved he is not fit to be at the club - Robles could be a good no 2 or even better- that has been was a woeful signing by RK three times he's signed him sent out on loan to the mighty Fulham struggled there and we sign him???

Joey just pointing out that IMO (and the poster I quoted) neither are good enough. Now I agree Robles is much better than Stek but still not good enough for the no.1 position. We need much better in goal along with about 6 positions outfield

Yes I agree, but why was he fetched back that's EIGHT goals he's conceded v Chelsea this season he makes our defence nervous utter bad management imo yes we need a keeper , but Robles has had a good run one mistake in a game we won 3-1 dropped let's see if the Stek is dropped next game odds on he won't be!

Robles is better than stek. Joe Hart makes more mistakes than robles and he's being lined up for a 30m move to man utd.

We need a class gk just as much as we need two class cb's, as well as probably a Baines replacement.

I'd be more than happy to have robles as our back up gk

Cant believe that, he was linked with Liverpool for 20m and they said they wasnt interested, replacing De Gea with Hart would be as bad as us replacing Lukaku with Rooney, then again after the money they blew on Pogba anything is possible I guess

As I said on the Steckelenberg thread, Joel is a far better keeper and young enough to improve. Ideally bring in a top keeper and have Joel as number 2. My only worry is that the names being bandied about, Pickford, Heston etc. are not really a big improvement on Joel.

What's the classic saying don't change a winning team especially a keeper the defence seemed comfortable with?

True that, see im all for dropping a player if he has been poor, everyone needs to know that, but the problem is we have nothing to bring off the bench for Joel. As bad a mistake as it was against Burnley, it didnt cost us and the clean sheet that was going spare for anyone last week at West Ham would of helped Joel get a bit of confidence back
