John Stones transfer saga

I can see that too. The team have their tails up and Spurs haven't sorted themselves out yet. Hopefully they dont run out of steam last half hour though.

We look better away from home currently as well and with it being Spurs they will come at us. We ain't got a great record there but I always fancy our chances that every now and then we will turn them over.

Everyone has been tempted to the dark side now and then. Stones will come good again. Just follow the light...

There we have it ladies and gents.

The fourth and final bid goes in on the same day his transfer request goes in.

If anyone needs any more evidence as who has been driving this whole charade then look no further. Its Chelsea and his agent filling his head with pure bile, clearly deliberating with each other without involving the most important party, Everton. You can bet your bottom dollar the media campaign has been driven by those as well.

Pathetic from Chelsea especially. Classless club who, lets face it, only Chelsea fans are proud or respectful of.

Hole in one mate - classless club.

Eriksen out too.

Let Kane get his first goal of the season against us in the first five mins and then we can go on and win..

Yes it was.

But the key phrase in the headline is "Everton fined for illegal approach".

Let's see if the F.A. or the PL take Chelsea to task over their behaviour in 2015.

Nothing is going to happen unless Everton make a complaint. The Terry and Cahill interventions have already been the subject of a PL response where they say no action would be appropriate as they both were responding to questions. The Terry comments were made during a PL event where the questions were asked on behalf of Sky!

Spurs wont sit back at any point. With Mirallas (who always does it against them), Deulofeu, Barkley and Lukaku running at them I do fancy us to get a goal or two. I just hope the effort last night isn't an issue.

Yeah defo mate. I'm impressed with the resolve of Martinez this summer to hang onto players. However, we came into this window not with the ambition to keep John Stones but to finally solve the lack of creativity in attack and to reinforce the CB situation (which even with Stones and Jagielka in it I find alarmingly poor).

All to do at this stage.

Come on Dave, i want you to give some credit to the board. All to do but we know Mori and Leanrdro Rodriguez are lined up, we know we bid on Yarkmolenko.... you had said, we have zero to spend unless we sell Stones. This is now looking way off the mark.
