John Stones transfer saga

I wonder how Stones is feeling at the moment ?
I wonder if he is glad that at last the circus may roll out of town?
I wonder what he feels about Everton ?

But, most of all I wonder what he thinks of his agent, who in my opinon has probably been responsible in the main for this farce, just exactly who do you think has been feeding certain sections of the media with their inside info ?
He changed his agent in the summer, moving from local Yorkshire woman to London based maggots, no doubt said agent will now move on to trying to get him a new contract at Goodison complete with buyout clause for next summer......

Nailed on.

Might do.... depends what they want to hear, as I'm not exactly supporting what the presenters have been presenting....

Utter tosh - and I don't actually mind Goldstein. Lewis from the mirror is a tosser, just a horrible bloke typical of a London journo. Cundy is a moron.

It is simple in my eyes, if you don't see yourself staying at a club for the length of the contract you're signing, don't sign it!

We're making a commitment to you by giving you such a long contract, now in return we'd like a commitment from you to honour it.

It really isn't mate, in the past two years under Mourinho Zouma/Kalas/Ake got a combined 8 league starts, in the equivalent period Stones had 38 despite spending almost three months out with injury.

Agree with you that Mourinho has developed Hazard extremely well though.

Btw does Cahill play much on the left at all? Almost always when I see him he is the RCB, even when paired with junior Cbs like Jones/Smalling for England or with Zouma - about the only time I've seen him switch over was when he came on for Terry against WBA last weekend. Just wondering as have never seen Stones play as LCB either in his two years with us/England youth teams so always wondered how Mourinho was planning a Cahill/Stones partnership to work.

Erm.

I've said to him he has got absolutely everything. He's only 22, he has the world at his feet and with the way he’s playing and the ability he has on the ball, he is scaring the life out of people."

Frank Lampard on the 22-year-old Eden Hazard, March 2013

On 3 June 2013, Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay announced the appointment of Mourinho as manager for the second time, on a four-year contract

So Hazard was already scaring Premiership defences before Jose arrived. He was bought as a quality player and has remained a quality player. Well done Jose. Well done for picking him to play most weeks.

Well, he's developed Oscar, Azpilicueta & Hazard into top players. He brought Courtois back from loan & binned Cech in favour of him. Zouma got alot of gametime last season for a 20 year old & started ahead of Cahill in our last game.

Our much heralded youth isn't all that special to play for a club with World Class players apart from 2/3 players. Namely Musonda, Loftus-Cheek & maybe Boga. 1 is already getting decent gametime, lets see how he develops the other two.

This notion Mourinho doesn't play young players is a bit silly & childish. If they're good enough, they play. The ones that need 2/3 seasons are rightfully sent out on loan.

Atletico Madrid developed Courtois.

If only he'd developed Kev De Bruyne as Wolfsberg did....

Salah, McEchran, Manciene, Johnson, Joe Cole, Scott Parker, Del Horno, Obi Mikel, Daniel Sturridge

I said if we had no Stones cash we didn't have a transfer war chest.

Still to see evidence that isn't true. 'Bids' for decent players like Yarmolenko? Great. Not adding to our squad in a hurry though is it?

Still, I won't be churlish: 'well done Bill, thanks for not selling any of our own players yet'.
I would like a bit of deadwood sold! I feel a loan player will end up in our midfield!

Oscar has gone backwards since the deluded one returned
azpilicueta hasn't improved since arriving at Chelsea
hazard has always been that good.

Mourinho hasn't developed a single Chelsea player ...... closest is matic imo
Chelsea don't develop , they buy buy buy . how many youngsters have stagnated outside the first 11 over the past decade ??
same with man city , 2 clubs any young talent should avoid imo.
Can you imagine him managing Everton?
