We didn't sign him thinking he would be here for 18 months and that is it. We could have left him at Barnsley where he may have got a move to Wigan and been forgotten about.

Do the media think Chelsea would had give him first team football if they bought him from Barnsley? He would have been swallowed up in the rest of their youth, spending season after season on loan at various clubs before they eventually get rid. We gave him the platform to perform. The double standard over Sterling and Stones is almost laughable.

Refuses a new contract because he wants to leave, continues on a lower wage while he pushes it through
The media attack him from all angles, making him out to be greedy, and publishing pictures of his indiscretions etc.
Pundit after pundit comes out and says he needs to stay at the rs
The rs are somehow portrayed as the victims

Stones
Signs a new long term deal at Everton
Requests a tfr to try to push through a move to the rent boys
Pundits come out and say he needs to move to further his career and 'learn' from John Terry. (Jags is far better than Terry IMO)
The media go in full out attack mode and make out the club and it's fans are a disgrace for not letting him move

Should we attempt to control the media like the rs and them do? Or just continue with our heads held high and remain dignified in our actions.
