John Stones transfer saga

Wouldn't Stones also be entitled to a % if he doesn't ask for a transfer. It would be at least 10%.
No way would he get 10% gross of the sale price. Agents fees would be paid by the buyer and if the lad wanted the move then he'd no doubt be told to forego any payment he was due for loyalty, which would be based on his current contract terms not the sale price

Why are ppl saying the money will be taken up by the Lukaku fee??? Will it balls, thats a standing arangement and nothing to do with tThe his.

Even if that was the case, it free's up the money we would have paid for lukaku to invest in new players.

felliani saved us 4m by submitting a "request" on deadline day when we sold him

There comes a point this pre season at which Kenwright will have to step in and sell Stones for the good of the club, as agreed in outline with Chelsea 12 months ago. One more triumph of prudent financial management for our plucky little club.

12 months ago, and of course you know the price too ? Yeah right, I hear of these 'done' deals every transfer window. Hmm if memory serves me right I thought it was Barkley that was the rumoured makeweight in the Lukaku deal ?
