Stones done just this a few weeks back,stating he's happy to stay at Everton and to continue learning his trade from Phil Jakielka.
 
I don't get why the Echo are saying 'Mourinho denies 2nd bid'.

He didn't say anything of the sort. He was drastically cut off by some Chelsea official before he could even answer the question.
 

Clearly the next mourinho tactic now.
He hasent said we wont be making a 2nd bid. He is just willing to bide his time.
He has laid the seeds with a bid, sent terry n cahill out to welcome him to chelsea, belittled the club.
Next step is to let the dust settle, and let the club start contemplating options of what to do with the stones money.
He is hoping we get a little itchy and come running to them offering the player for x amount
 
Chelsea is backing down.
Or actually they are waiting what Stones does. They are waiting his reaction. But there will not be anything cause he's a smart guy.

They have throwed the nets in the water and now they wait.

Everton should set a private deadline of Friday evening for 35m cash for Stones. If Chelsea miss it Everton complain to the FA for tapping up and the deal, if there was any chance, is now off.

Chelsea have acted very poorly as usual.look at your owner look at your manager.football ain't all about having the most money and winning everything.grow some brains and support a team that acts gracefully and is family friendly.chelsea are embarrassing to the English game.you don't even have the ability to realise how pathetic you are.typical Russian mentality.oh and I think it's hilarious that John stones knows he's better off at everton and will be with everton come sep15.he may go to you in the future but not because he likes or respects you but just because he has to earn as much money as he can in his short career.all players who go to Chelsea only use you for your Russian corrupt money and career success stats.supporting a proper club is something all of you will never experience.unlucky.

Honestly, I can't see where Kenwright or Martinez have deserved some of the comments here on this matter. If there comes a time in this sorry saga when we can legitimately believe that our leaders have screwed us over, then by all means let's get stuck in. But there is no evidence that our club is caving in. Chelski are increasingly hysterical and nauseating; we are standing firm, thus far admittedly. Reading some posts here you'd think the Stones deal had been done and he was going for tuppence ha'penny.

They are clearly wanting Stones to put in a transfer request or throw a hissy fit like Sterling. I hate Chelsea, wouldn't be so cocky without a billionaire backer.

yes. this is the bottom line atm. btw..Cahills comments are a disgrace.

all in all this is a perfect example of agressive unsettling campaign.

i have lost all the respect for that club.
