John Stones transfer saga

Before all this crap happened though..

Delph did that too.

No it wasn't. Stones said his piece the week after the bid was already rejected. He knew about it then.

It got publicised on 17th July but we'd had the bid at least a week earlier as we'd already sent the letter to them telling them he wasn't for sale. This all started before the Swindon game, behind the scenes.

All that's happened since is Cahill talking him up.

They are clearly wanting Stones to put in a transfer request or throw a hissy fit like Sterling. I hate Chelsea, wouldn't be so cocky without a billionaire backer.

I didn't mind them until this.

They piss the RS off and that us always a big plus for me.

However I wil now be happy to see United beat both them and the other nouveau riche scallies in Manchester to the Title.

Selling the lad will b bad enough but i think trusting bobby with that cash in his pocket could make the whole thing twice as painful, at least with moyesy i had alot of faith in his transfer dealings! i would love to see a list of his possible targets

I hate to say this but that is my biggest fear in all of this.

Letting Bobby loose with all that dough does not enthuse me at all.

"there are no fresh bids for stones. i think we'll let the situation unfold naturally from now until whenever, because if we continue to force it then everton will most likely take liberties in upping his price. if they know we're willing to pay a good price for him already (26 million) and he feels he wants to come here, then everton will have to strongly consider it. "
I love the Chelsea fans as if the money is coming out of their own arse pockets.

This is just another tactic by Chelsea.
Gary Cahills comments yesterday about how they'll be challenging for medals etc. followed by talking how a young player can't really refuse... directly followed up by Mourinho saying that they have the best team and don't need anyone else.

This will all go quiet now for a couple of weeks while they hope Stones' agent does their work for him... "if they come back in it will be your last chance etc. etc.". You'll then see Chelsea make an improved bid in August with the hope that when Everton reject it, Stones will hand in a transfer request.

In my opinion... it's all for nowt, Stones' will be here when the window shuts.

Chelseas only hope is to get Stones to put in a transfer request.
It's the only way they could have any power over the possible transfer fee.

They booed their own team because they were beating Bolton and that meant Everton would survive relegation.

Give any team the money they've had and they would be a big could too.

I hope they don't win anything for a while and watch Mourinho squirm whilst he can't be calling himself 'The Special One'.
