Did you watch the video?

I really dont get the title of that article. He doesn't get asked about Stones, so how the hell they can say he remained tight lipped...

The stirring of the newspapers has been 'phenomenonal' this summer

World class stirring

'Martinez, though, was adamant Stones' situation had not changed since the last time he spoke on the subject, adding he wants to bring in at least more two more players before the end of the transfer window.'

I don't know how much more clear Roberto Martinez can be

"Chelsea to launch their 2nd bid in the next 48 hours' we were all told yesterday, via the 8 (EIGHT) newspaper articles released on line within 3 minutes of each other, following no doubt a Chelsea PR briefing.

Well, 24 hours gone, and no 2nd bid yet. Surely the papers aren't going to be wrong? I mean, they said 48 hours!!! :coffee:

What a weird quote to use.

Don't really post on here but here goes.

John stones when signing his contract last asked to be kept informed if a champions league club made an approach, he has indicated he would want to speak with Chelsea if the deal was right. Everton have instructed stones to make no comment until an agreement is in place - of which the trigger point is 35m with add on for league / champions league success. Stones will not ask for a transfer but once a deal is reached (and it will be) will leave.

Leave out the RAWK / Kopite stuff
