If he signed his new contract recently then I might well believe it, but when he signed his contract he was still in the early stages of establishing himself and was still a long way away from joining a CL club. It really is not too far off Galloway asking if he be allowed to talk to a CL if they come calling.
I am sure that if Everton accept a deal from Chelsea he will be happy to go, if not he will be happy to stay.
I think the same could be said of every member of our squad.

As he knows this kind of information, then he must also know our main targets are for the remainder of the window, moreso as we need to replace the aforementioned Stones.

No idea mate only passing on what was discussed yesterday. I think we have to remember stones signed a 5 year deal so I would suspect his agent would naturally have an agreement re a CL club. Like all of us I want him to stay but within the club their resigned to him leaving.

Actually now that we have a genuine inside source, did he mention if Mirallas was staying or leaving, if McCarthy has contract issues or indeed any other snippets about the squad.
Maybe he knows about the stones situation only or was happy to talk about that, but felt the club wouldn't like him talking about the other situations.

You may well be right, but I am sure you can appreciate how difficult it is for any of to accept that he gave out this privileged sensitive information to a stranger in a vacuum of telling him nothing else.
