I hate to break this to you but the club won't turn a bid of £35m including add-ons for him. It's the Everton way. The only question is whether or not Chelsea will meet the valuation.

No idea mate only passing on what was discussed yesterday. I think we have to remember stones signed a 5 year deal so I would suspect his agent would naturally have an agreement re a CL club.

A real rookie mistake by ''the great'' Mourinho if his plan is to play both Zouma and Stones in his starting XI. Not saying they're bad players, but Chelsea won't win the PL, which surely is their target every season, with two youngsters as centre backs.

It is how it would be perceived by the outside football world. Everton won't want to be seen to be selling one of its greatest assets just for the money... so I think would reject anything that would be considered as 'reasonable' for a defender of Stone's ability (£20-30m). This would only change if the offer was so stupidly high that any sensible business particularly one with a stadium to build would be mad to reject it (£40m+). Of course this changes if Stones makes his desire to leave public, Everton wouldn't want to keep an unhappy player and would save some face if Stones was seen as the villain. Then a compromise might be agreed... in short I think Chelsea won't pay a figure Everton can't refuse so the ball is very much in the players court.

That really would be a case of 'from the sublime to the ridiculous'. Chirices appears to be off to Napoli or Fiorentina. Adebayor to Villa (apparently), Townsend to WBA (as part of a player/cash deal for Berahino?) & Lennon to EFC.

We are starting be linked with prety much everyone & anyone. Striker, winger & DM appear to be our most pressing need.

whats wrong with Distins comments ? In the grand scale of things we are no longer a big club and its delusional to think otherwise. We haven't won a trophy in 20 years (MLS all star cup doesn't count...) and we don't have a big global fanbase. We are big in regards to history of the English game but to younguns and people abroad we are not seen as a big club. We have had zero success in the premier league era bar a one off 4th place which led to nothing.

You all know its true, why get angry at a player for saying what we all know ?

I agree 100% mate.

But some people won't i'm afraid. People living on our former glorys. I actually find it embarassing that we've not won a pot since 1995 but want to be taken seriously as a big team.
