John Stones transfer saga

i wouldn't accept less than £50m tbh. sounds stupid but with the home grown quota, inflated prices and the fact i've never seen an english defender quite like him before it's not unreasonable.

And that doesnt include the signing on fees for the numerous free transfers we have got in, nor does it include the 5m in Agent Fees we pay each Year.

Money is money ,but shall we just say stuff the money ...Stones is stopping here for awhile.
I,d prefer that as an option to selling him at the present time ....

Undisclosed fees for Kennedy and Hallam Hope.

And what would Moyes' spend look like if you factored in "signing on fees for the numerous free transfers we have got in, nor does it include the 5m in Agent Fees"?

I didnt include them, did I?

Its still 22.8m.

Now sit down and get your dog off my leg.

We should be getting 45m for him with both Manchester Clubs set to come in.

I don't want him to go, if he is sold it's down to the board, I have no doubts Stones is happy to stay here and develop for another 2 or 3 years easy.

I'm pretty relaxed on this Stones thing, tbh*. I'll be delighted if we retain him; but if he goes for a figure in the £30Ms I'd think that he was someone else's project to turn into a player fetching that fee, because IMO he's pretty raw still.

*As long as the cash went right back out again on transfers, and not wing its way to the BVIs to Kenwright's mates.

Selling him would be the lowest point in our history in my opinion.

Years of chaos culminating in our prized asset going to a club who we were twice the size of 10 years ago.

But for my son I doubt id set foot in Goodison again till a new board is in place.

David hes a special player, not many come around like him.

Be interesting to see those figures with a correlation of increase in tv revenue factored in.
