Didn't José say that all we has to say he not for sale, and we have done this twice. He didn't relized that the club are not that skint these days plus I believe the terry sub was aimed at stones

Unless you've discovered time travel that's not really relevant. We're talking about the team as it currently stands.

Your game is so weak even Goat would be embarrassed.

I'm so strongly on the game that yer mar would be beaming, you bad Kia Ora head.

The team currently stands will be with additions in less than two weeks. That's the time to chatting your bubbles.

And regarding Stones, Naismith told Press Association Sport on Tuesday: "We definitely want him to stay - he is a fantastic guy and footballer, and a mainstay in our team.

"You want your best players to be here to hopefully continue bringing success to Everton.
"He has progressed rapidly in the last two years and we want him to continue that under the leadership of the manager (Martinez) and also (Stones' Everton captain and fellow England centre-back) Phil Jagielka - I'm sure Stonesey would be the first to say he learns so much from him on a day-to-day basis."

Then asked if Everton could cope with the loss should further bids lead to Stones' departure, Naismith - speaking at Toxteth Jobcentreplus, where he was giving tickets for Toffees matches to unemployed fans - said: "I think the club's stance on it has been pretty straightforward and the manager is looking forward with Stonesey in the team. "The manager has mentioned wanting to bring in three more players in to strengthen, and I don't think anyone has ever thought about Stonesey moving on."

Then perhaps I misunderstood the point of your post.

You said

which I took to imply that you meant selling Stones would be a superior strategy to break into the top 4 than Chico's suggestion, which was:

So I pointed out that very few if any clubs have been able to break into the champions league going the route you suggested. Understand?

Would you like to clarify what you meant if I've got it wrong?

We are extremely unlikely to get into the top 4 whether we sell Stones or not, but i believe if we sold him and spent £30m+ from that transfer on other areas of the squad while also getting in two centre halves that we could feasibly be a more effective team.

By far and away our biggest issue at the moment is our lack of creativity.
