We could buy the stadium with all them sales.

But, if Stones was to be sold for let's say 45 million we could go the bank and use that capital as a down payment for a loan against the new stadium.

Anyway, let's hope Stones comes out and says he is happy for the time being and not interested in moving.

Exactly, even with the money from him i couldnt name anyone who could replace him, or anyone that maybe could wouldnt come here.

There really isnt that many good CBs knocking about these days

Start panicking when stones says he wants out and/or the club accept a bid. Sick of reading "I THINK at £30 million he will go" then someone replying "your wrong lad I THINK at £35 million he will go" have a day off boys.

Haha. I've seen this argued today by kopite mates on social media. All of them saying 'that was yesterday, the bid was after that, he'll soon change his tune.' LOL, as if John wasn't aware of Chelsea having an interest 24 hours before the story broke in the media.

Doesn't matter as it's still Martinez's decision on the transfer front, with what sterling's just gone for and the fact we don't need to sell, stones has 4 years left on his deal and won't kick up a fuss, and the media have hyped him up as the next Ferdinand/Terry you have to be smoking crack if you think IF he did leave (and a massive IF at that) your talking anything less than at minimum £40 mil+ in which we just hope the sell on clause is only 15-20% and not any higher and we come away with at minimum £32 million in the bank.

Although like I say he's happy at the club, under contract, guaranteed first team football a season before an international competition and Chelsea barely give youth a chance= chances of him staying around 80%, which is why I don't get everyone panicking

Don't know why people are upset about Stones possibly leaving; for 20m+ we could easily replace him with Hakim Ziyech according to what I take for gospel on this forum
