Barkley has more potential than Isco. Bout on the same level atm although vastly different players so not easy to compare.

Haven't seen much of Varane but if he has better distribution and confidence coming out from the back than Stones then fair play to the kid cos Stones is fully boss.
 
Is stones rested today as if so he must be off to the world cup?

Would be amazing to have baines jags stones and barkley alll in the squad.

Be like 86 all over again - Lineker, Reid, Bracewell, Steven, Stephens !!! Lineker technically still an Everton player !
 
No Stones or Barkley, sounds very like not wanting to get one of the young kids with a chance of the world cup a knock like
 

I think he will be in the 30 but not the 23 interesting that Hodgson has gone to watch UTD today at Southampton

Agreed. Both had good years, and certainly for Flanagan, there isn't anyone better.

Stones' is surely a better option for the future than the likes of Caulker, so you've got to take him, by the looks of things, he's certainly in the 30-man squad.

Be disappointed for him if Caulker gets in. I think that Woy will go with his favourits ie Cole Lampard and Walker ahead of talented youth such as Stones, Flannagan and (insert better midfielder than Lampard) !

I think you've got to look at it this way, when Isco was at Málaga last season, he was the star player, and he'd rightly dominate games, he's a top player. You've got to look at it this way, if Barkley was at Madrid, i think he'd play just as much as Isco, so you can only really criticise Isco, because he went to Madrid, and he can't possible thrive and develop when he isn't player.

FWIW, i'd have Barkley, but Isco is an incredible talent, with CL Pedigree, should he leave Real, he would be a superstar anywhere else, where they let play.

Well supposedly, the talk is that Cole is definitely out and Shaw is in.

I can't see a reason for dropping Stones or Barkley if they weren't going. I think it makes a lot of sense for Stones to go. He'll be a superstar.
 
If he isn't in the squad for this World Cup I am 100% convinced he'll be in for the Euro's and wouldn't be surprised if he's a starter when they kick off.

The kid is gonna be a superstar.
