I wouldn't sell him for Shaw money personally. He's got the potential to be one of the best modern centre backs in the world, in my opinion.
how much was the supposed bid for Stones?
If they came in with Shaw type money then i'd sell all day long, massive profit and no idea if he is a top talent.
prefer to keep him though
£99.8million and NO LESS.
Fixed that for good.£Infinity million and NO LESS.
He's an entrepreneur, buy small - sell big. He did it with Bale (£7mil in, £77mil out.

same. I mean, i get why they dont do that. 7mil is a decent enough chance for our club, and there were rumours Southampton were going to let him go soon before Spurs came around. But if you are going to be a selling club, why not do something like Chelsea did a few years ago and buy all the good young talent in the world and then just loan them out, thereby making your money back and getting them to develop. Look at the younger Hazard, he's getting to be class without ever being at Chelsea. Same with Lukaku and Courtois etcetcThat's what I wish we would do, buy promise not over 30s and frees.
That Express story is hilarious - "Ooooh, the offer of first team football at Spurs is set to swing it" - he's getting first team football at Everton, a team that finished above Spurs.
And as if we'd sell him... the London media simply don't have a clue.lollollol

He's Distin's successor - old Sylvain's probably got 1 season left (2 maximum) and that's it.
Stones is a future Everton captain.
