Distin is still the better defender. Stones will emulate him at the rate he is going no doubt but at the moment Stones is still learning his defensive duties. Stones is much better than Jags and Distin with the ball at his feet.

Stones should be first choice. Would be a Moyes thing to do to flog Jags and Distin into the ground whilst Stones goes off to get paid double to sit on someone elses bench. We have to instill loyalty in our young talents by giving them significant game time. This is why i think Roberto will move to a back three next season. Stones must be in the team.

We have plenty of football to play all three quite regularly as part of a back 4.

We have Europe. None of our CB's will want for game time (except hopefully Alcaraz).

Hmm I agree that he needs tp play but not sure RM will opt for 3 at rthe back just to give them all game time....somebody is going to the bench....rotation system perhaps
