I think walker is a better right back than john stones but as a centre back he should deffo be in there.

Did you see Spurs at the weekend mate? I know it was a tough game but I've never seen a player so awful! He's in because he played for Spurs. I'd rather have Clyne or Stones at right back. Ideally Stones with Cahill at centre-half.

Stones is a naff RB, but then so is Walker. The difference is that Stones is 4 years younger and that's not even his actual position.
He's comfortably good enough as a CB to be in there on merit, anyway.
Clyne would be the ideal right back for England and cahill and stones at centre back.

Gary Cahill's not even been playing that regularly the past month or so. Zouma's gotten in ahead of him a few times and often outshone him.
Basically England are mega gash, so when they snub one of their genuine talents like Stones it just irks me. And it's not bias talking; I'd be the first to laugh at Ross being in the squad.

Think he should be in the squad to be honest, hands down- young, good technique, just needs a tad better management, and perhaps Roy thinks he can offer a different approach to Bobby that might galvanize him. But to pick Ross- you'd have to pick Stonesy you'd think. Has he been watching as play then or what?

I want Ross to be brilliant, but he's had a poor season and does not deserve to be in the squad at the moment. Even with England's lack of options in his position.
Also LOL at Roy making him better. Roy wrecked his confidence last time and the only time you'd call Roy Hodgson to give you a pep talk is if you were leaning over the edge of a skyscraper and wanted a reason to leap.
