Has anyone else noticed how vicious John has become when he attacks the ball now – ever since he bulked up a bit after being injured. Vicious.

I'm sure this bid won't be the end of it. Offer goes to 30m and I don't think the club could / would reject it

Club will have laughed £20m out of town. I don't think we'll sell for any price unless he wants to go, and I highly doubt he will.

Jose wants Stones to play next to Terry next season. His vision is Zouma and Stones long term.

Long term replacements for John Terry is what some Chelsea fans have said to me. Him Zouma would be a good pairing.

No chance for 15 million. But, it's common knowledge that Jose sees Stones and Zouma as the future for Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho is said to be an admirer of John Stones
The former Barnsley player currently with the England Under 21s in the Czech Republic is amongst a short list of potential summer signings as Mourinho looks to strengthen his title winning defence.

Chelsea are also keen on Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane but the Spaniards insist the Frenchman is staying put.

They have been in negotiations over Atletico Madrid’s Toby Alderweireld who spent last season on
But Stones is highly regarded within Chelsea and would also help Mourinho’s side meet the required Premier League quota of home reared players.

Stones has matured since his bargain £3 million move from Barnsley in January 2013 into a ball playing central defender with bags of potential.

Everton would be loathe to part with a player they rate at around £15 million but manager Roberto Martinez could use the money to strengthen his own squad.

He is trying to sign Crystal Palace’s central defender Scott Dann and Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu who spent a season on loan at Goodison Park

Been on the cards for a while

Its on the same level as Utd bidding 28 million for Baines and Fellaini last summer imo.

He is by far the best young english CB and arguably one of very few potentially world class CBs in world football. He has no desire to leave and we certainly don't need to sell and we have seen only the other day one of the most overhyped undeserved british record transfers for sterling and then they go an offer us only 20 million.

Ferdinand broke the british record when he joined utd and the fee ended up around about 30 million and that was back when english players were not as over priced and we're talking about 13 years ago. There is absolutely no reason for us to do anything other than play hard ball and force chelsea to either offer something ridiculous and perhaps they agree to it which at that point we could not complain anyway or they simply say we aint paying that and we get to keep one of englands best talents.
