No - we have to get away from borrowing. We need owners who put cash into the business not allow it out through unnecessary debt.

Yes, i agree 100%. But just in terms of Stones, we 'could' give him a payrise and we 'could' borrow against revenues and sign a couple of top players.

i mean hypothetically, if we gave stones £100k+ a week we would then need to do the same for other stars and i imagine those in the next bracket down would also want increases too (Besic/McCarthy) so its not just about a single player...BUT we have a lot of players out of contract and money coming in so it is doable.

Again, extreme example but we 'could' offer him £120k a week and 'could' make a £50mil bid for a player ourselves...

Wouldnt be a 'leeds' situation but would, like you say be borrowing but only against one years income and would mean we keep these "stars" id hope.

In all honestly I thought that should've been awarded a penalty but I never thought it was a foul when gave away that penalty in the Stoke game, sometimes luck is on your side. Played well.

He's a naive defender. Every game that passes convinces me more and more he should be playing higher up the pitch than a place in the back four. Eventually he'll cost us in a huge game.
