I think you tend to skirt round the true issue here mate, the fact is the lad isn't as good as he and most people on here think he is. Could debate till we're blue in the face but as a CB I just don't fancy him.

Yup plenty of time to learn, doesn't mean he can't make mistakes or have things he needs to work on. Lately he seems to fall asleep off the ball and fail to mark his man. Might just be worn out. Rom looks to be worn out as well

How good was he last season? We conceded 50 goals in the premiership, one less than Hull and two less than Burnley, not saying its all his fault but are we or did we get caught up in the 'He's a ball playing English defender' thing? OK he's 21 but seems to be making some big mistakes recently, maybe he just needs to be taken out the firing line for awhile, especially as Funes Mori looks like he's enjoying playing at the mo.

Can't really blame Rom. He's had to carry the load up front in literally every match. Stones may need a break as well. If nothing else to wake him up.
