Always having ago at the most skilful players tho, Barkley and now stones. Do you see him having a go at Henderson, no because safe players is the way to go. Players like stones and Barkley will always have mistakes in them as they take more risks then the average safe players.
 
That England back four was crying out for stones on Saturday and roy knows it. The whole international footballing world would have watched that game and noticed that Smalling, clyne , rose and especially cahill ,just lumped it when pressed high. This surrendering possession will never see England reach the latter stages of a competition.

Hoddle was the one that brought Rio into the england team so they could play out the back!
Do like Hoddle as a pundit, he is always wanting teams to play football but not poncey like martinez football!
 

No suprise for me that third choice defender from one of the leagues worst defences struggles to be the first choice player for the national side...

Unlike Everton and Martinez, Hodgson is out there with a job to do. To get a result not to make players feel comfortable or to say they are the next gazzas, cruyffs or beckenbauers

That prick-Hodgson didn't have a bad word to say about any of the poor/average R/S players he put in the England side, especially the crap Glen Johnson, who had he played for any other team would never have got called up for England.
 

Haven't seen it but did see the line-ups.

Not excusing the mistake, but why the hell is he playing as left centre back? He's never played there... Smalling has, a lot.
