My older brother and a real student of footie has been saying exactly this for the past 18 months - that JS has all the ingredients to make a dominant midfielder.

Decent midfielders are 10 a penny, ball playing class central midfielders are not. He needs time to learn his trade as a centre half, Everton will give him that , Roy hodgson and the British press probably won't.
