He was ok, throroughly unimpressed with him all season though, which isn't a good sign. Wouldn't turn down a silly bid for him like we did last Summer. He'll be a good player, but he's overrated.

The potential of this lad is frightening. There's not many 21 year old centre-backs in the world who can perform to his level. He will make mistakes naturally, and in such a decisive position they'll be punished. He will continue to get better, and the way he brought the ball out and stretched the play yesterday was our only threat whatsoever. Also, it doesn't help when you have 35,000 people on his back as soon as he has the ball in his own half at Goodison. He will go elsewhere and be a star.

no ones on his back today and he's all over the show!

Put the ball out for a throw, just clear the danger don't try a swivvel pass in your own box fired in at the GK from about 10 yards with 2 players pressuring in on him, the best he could do is clear it which Stones should have done himself.

Close to giving up on the lad because despite the talent that is currently buried way way inside somewhere he doesn't learn from the same mistake over and over and its beyond ridiculous, you can expect young CBs to have dips in form and the odd mistake but these aren't defensive errors they're mental errors from overplaying and its ridiculous when the situations are so much more manageable than what he keeps choosing to do.
