Nah Mori was dropped because he was absolutely dreadful and had a few stinkers on the bounce.

But then again they all are.

West Ham and Arsenal he was directly responsible for about 4 goals.

Stones has screwed up simple situations a number of times this season. But today's was awful.

I'd flog him and buy a big bloke who can head the ball, kicks it into the stands a lot and does not play
like a Beckenbuer-bad copy. Someone like a younger Damm.

I like Stones, but he needs to be told, instructed and be capable of understanding when to play football and when to go Row Z.
Correct that within him and we've got a great player for some considerable time.

I thought he did well today apart from that pass. A few wayward long balls but I'd rather he hit it out for a throw in the opposition half than play himself/others into trouble. Defended well today

His pass back in first time injury time was school boyish pathetic to throw the lead away - his distribution in the first half went in to touch yet when unnecessary he tried a pass back like that????

been our best defender in the last two games, should have cleared the ball instead of the pass back but a lot more at fault after that up until the goal, our defending set pieces is atrocious

Once stones gets the proper coaching he will be a great player. I think a lot of his errors are due to the way Martinez wants us to play.
