How do you know he is getting taught properly though we just don't do defending.
I know your not the kind to slate but he will end up top notch

These guys were winning games on there own for there clubs at a young age.

Stones needs to do this now.

Playing daft balls Knee high, letting the ball come across him, standing off , being caught wrong side, failing to organise and not attacking head high balls are being taught to him?

He is a young player trying to learn his trade he needs time to grow as a player.
The tactics don't help him one bit and in an ideal world should be rested time to time but the manager reckons we only need 3 centre backs for some reason
 

In summary hes unmatched on the ball albeit a little too cocky lately, defensively he has a lot to work on. His on the ball attributes can mask his defensive side at times so he gets an easy ride


Could probably do with a few games out, shame we dont have the cover to do it now though

I have no stats

but I intuitively believe that 2 x defensive minded CBs will be better for the team. Of course the inference being that Stones first instincts are not defensive.

What is your reason to challenge this assertion?
