John Textor

But there isn't though mate, you mention 777 that led to TFG, who themselves back away, so what happened to all these groups pre TFG who were so interested in buying in, they have gone and won't come back because a) 777 b) they just don't want to deal with a clown like Moshiri. We just have to hope something gets sorted with Textor or someone else and asap, the longer it goes on the more things will boil over eventually.

If they weren't prepared to deal with Moshiri, they wouldn't have come forward initially.

We don't know exactly what spooked TFG, but it could well be resolved over the next 6-12 months. In wicu case the 2nd option is also cleared too.

There will be buyers of a club of Everton's size, allied to a new stadium. It's that simple.

No we are not. This is just ludicrous. The same was said last January with 777 and 6 separate groups of billionaires came forward (at least 6). We were supposedly going into admin and a fire sale with TFG walked away (but still hold some interest) and no fire sale/admin has emerged.

Even before the loans Textor has given, we had pretty much paid off the stadium, and had funding through for the entire season. That's before August TV monies came in, and any additional loans from Textor came in.

Even the most pessimistic of analysis would have said that June/July 2025 would have been a cash pinch point. We would not run out of cash in October
Lets wait and see then

Lets wait and see then

Ok. The same thing has been said multiple times, and not materialized. Admin in December, firedale January, admin April, firesale May, firesale June. None of it ever happened. And the club is in a far better cash position now than before.

Maybe after 6/7 times we look at it and say perhaps the people suggesting that may not be on the money.

If Textor walks away then we are done for, come Oct/Nov we need regular funding again and Moshiri ain't doing it. I really hope its not the case but I have concerns both on and off the pitch this season.
Not really whatever happens moshiri or whoever needs pay back TFG or that loan i think gets them control of the club if not paid back. Just think then moshiri will enter talks with TFG and meet in the middle to get deal done

I remember Kieran Maguire saying it on Football Weekly. Suggested we're fine with the first tranche of money coming from the Premier League for merit payments and TV money but that it wouldn't stretch beyond Nov/Dec without a new owner coming along.

Maybe Textor will sort it but not sure whether he can put money in while still holding his Palace shares.

Well, that paid off the MSP loans. Having said that, it's unlikely TFG is loaning us 200 million and then lets us run out of cash before the debt is due.

I'm not saying it's a good situation. I'm just saying we don't run out of cash by October.

And yes it did pay off MSP in a lot of parts, and provide some working capital for club as well as paying the majority of the stadium off.

The MSP loan was the most likely way we could have gone into admin. The TFG loan is structured differently, and from an admin standpoint, less of a threat.

I'm pretty sure he was one pushing the firesale line.
