I don't believe Textor will buy Everton. Afaik there is nothing other than a report from David Ornstein to back up the claim of exclusivity.

Perhaps it's a looser arrangement which suits Moshiri. Not quite sure how it suits Textor other than keeping other prospective buyers away whilst he takes forever to dispose of his Palace shares.

All adds up to another stringing-along exercise. In a way, I'd rather this and still hold out for Friedkin to return to the table, eventually. TFG as owners seem to be preferable to Textor in every aspect.

I don't think anything substantive on this is going to happen for a least a period of months. We've come full circle in 12 months, and are waiting again, for a credible investor to come forward who can overcome the obstacles placed in their way by Moshiri.

Reckon an Evertonian who specializes in investigative football journalism might have an extra interest in what happens to the club but thats just me.

Suppose we can go down the conspiracy track though rather than the most basic answer that Moshiri is a moron who picks other bad owners to take over the disaster he's left the club in.

Have you seriously called Paul Brown a specialist in investigative journalism.
