After making a ton of marmalade I've come across a recipe for Seville marmalade gin, takes three weeks, I think I'll give it a go.

My missus made some lime gin marmalade before Christmas. Didn't take anything like that long. It's ruddy lovely, other than having the consistency of blutack. After making a ton of marmalade I've come across a recipe for Seville marmalade gin, takes three weeks, I think I'll give it a go.
I was originally looking for a Seville orange gin recipe, found them, and it's best drunk after three years - well that's not going to happen.lolMy missus made some lime gin marmalade before Christmas. South Tyroleans do make some excellent stuff. Next time you are down there look for some Gravenstein (distilled from a particular type of apple) or some stuff from stone pine cones (Zirben or Zirbeler). Hazelnut schnaps is not bad either, as long as you get a non-sweet one.
I'm like that with vodka. Can't stomach it now. Even 25 years later...Bladdered on whisky as a 14 year old put me right off. Luckily, did the same with cider a year or 2 later. Cant stand neither of them now.
Have tried the hazelnuts schnapps - much prefer fruitier ones personally, but hey you can't beat schnappsSouth Tyroleans do make some excellent stuff.
