Didn't think he was especially horrendous today, but for a young player to have so many PL games under his belt already to still look wet behind the ears is a tad concerning.

When he has the ball at his feet anywhere on the pitch that isn't deep in the oppo's final third he looks like a deer in headlights.

I thought that was his best game for us today but I have pretty low expectations for this current crop of youngsters. Some brilliant balls into the box mixed in with some poor defending.

has to take a touch every time, allows the oppo to close him down meaning 9/10 he ends up playing the ball backwards

It's a real shame he can't make the step up, his decision making will cost us a game...although holgate is terrible going forwarding I think he is the better option for right back

Are we just going to right off every decent young player after a handful of games in the first team. The centre backs are doing him no favours, he still young and will improve and is a much better footballer than Coleman was at his age who was a terrible defender, i can remeber Coleman pretty much single handedly costing us a game versus reading about five years ago and the twitter mob jumping on him. Its one game we jsut haveot hope Mina is some sort of defensive god and can get a grip of the whole defence.

Played better today than Coleman has all season. But Walcott has killed both of them with running towards them whenever they get the ball instead of down the line

To me it looked like he gave up today in a tough game for him.
Looked beaten.
Still saw more than enough last season to know there's a quality defensive full back there.

I actually don't think he was that bad today. I'd give him a 5 out of 10. Not awful and I think he put in one or two good crosses second half.

He's not good enough obviously, but that's been clear for ages. Something has to be done about our lack of depth at full back,

Thought he was very poor today but could be good enough.
