And people thought this lad was better than Sidibe. He is a dreadful player who can't cross the ball. A Rb was essential in the summer and we didn't address it

We did...

Coleman is the starter, Holgate is an option (injured) Godfrey was also brought in as an option there (one good game one bad) and Kenny was retained.

So we DID address it. We just didn't address it the way you (and others no doubt) wanted us to...

That's an awful lot of 'he can do a job at right back".

I don't think that is addressing it tbh. It's just identifying players that could potentially play the position of right back if they're absolutely forced to.

We had other areas to address that were way more important, like a whole new midfield which we did. We were moaning about getting another centre back in and we did that too.

You cant change everything straight away, right back was covered for now and then Coleman, Holgate and Kenny all got injured at the same time. With a full strength team elsewhere it becomes less of an issue.

It's being looked at with a massive amount of hindsight here. If none of these injuries happened and if our three best players were not missing from the team we would probably be sat here saying "why did we spend so much money on a right back to sit on the bench?"

We have been incredibly unlucky at right back this season.

If he doesnt back himself to pass forward and get to the byline, then there's not much hope is there.

Sidibe was pretty terrible but at least he continually tried to make stuff happen.
Sidibe was a pretty good passer and attacker but just an abysmal defender. Very weird player honestly. He might have been decent in a 3 man back system.

As for Kenny, he doesn't have enough skill or athleticism to be a high level fullback. The question really is can he even be worthwhile to keep as a backup.

I kind of miss playing Where's Djibril though.

The opponent is attacking, is he stood

A. At Right Back
B. Left WIng
C. Midfield
D. Putting his sock on in the bog.
