I don’t get the bile directed at him. He didn’t lack effort and wasn’t a big time charlie. If he thought that he’d play regularly he’d probably stay. Wanted to play so he’s left us. The cost to us has be relatively small. I wish he was a better player as his attitude seemed to be spot on.

No offence to him but severely poor player

He is nowhere near as bad as people make out. Played in fits and starts, in a very poor Everton team, probably never the same defenders next to him.

Heard they passed him the contract and it pinged off him like the ball on matchdays. At least on this occasion what was given to him has found its way back to someone in blue. Very unlike the ball on matchdays.
