He played well last week to see the game out there and he had a great 2nd half against Brighton when he got subbed after a nice assist. He can play football and defend, the one attribute which is pretty important is speed which he lack a little.

Digne gets destroyed by so many inverted wingers. Mahrez another example. Time and time he just shows them inside onto their strong foot. Given how many wingers now play like that the option of a right footer who is comfortable on the left is a good one to have.

I'd probably offer him a contract given I'd rather he played left back as cover than Godfrey (he needs to settle into that CB position).

As others have said, though, Kenny should probably look to go somewhere where he's starting every week.
