How about a quality left footer who knows Kenny's game well. Somebody with great vision and the ability to deliver a quality telling pass. A dead ball specialist who can chip in with frequent spectacular goals out of nowhere. Now where could we find a player like that? What type of player do you think would suit?
Crossing and his defensive heading at the back post
Good lad!

As @jceverton has said earlier a whole lot of us have been following his progress from about 17 , some earlier. The first thing I noticed when he was the England U17s full back was his ability in the air for someone comparatively small. He was winnning challenges from throw ins , free kicks etc . In theEngland and our youth teams he’s always shown an ability to get forward and cross if he’s got the opportunity.Crossing and his defensive heading at the back post

He’s always had a wee bit of everything in his game, but for many he doesn’t look like the physical specimen people demand of the modern full back e.g some believe the RS’s Trent-Arnold is a better young full back , and he looks better physically and is probably faster. What Jonjoe is learning to do at PL level is to limit his weaknesses e.g. last night he caught and tackled an attacker when you thought they’d sped past him, but his positioning and speed off the mark allowed him to do so.
He’s still got more developing to do and you have to believe he’ll get better with experience and is not the finished article yet. What really pees me off are the lazy meffs who sarcastically quote “ Caca” whenever he gets any praise. The only people who mention Caca are people who either have never watched him properly or who don’t have the football knowledge and understanding to compose a paragraph on what his weaknesses are , so resort to cheep sarcasm.
We don’t have a great recent history of getting young players who have looked good in the PL at full back to kick on - Browning, Garbutt, Galloway spring to mind so there is always a need for caution . Big Sam has recognised his qualities and I’m sure will help him develop further. At 20 he’ll undoubtedly hit a rocky patch at sometime, have the odd bad game or two , but in the next two years irrespective of how well Seamus plays on his comeback we’ll have a player at 22 who could hold down the position for a long long time.

A good one mate, but joking aside the easy answer would be a pienaar type, failing that anyone with pace and a brain would suit also, problem is you need a wide player who the opposition are a bit scared of to get the best, otherwise you end up with the fullback being double teamed both when attacking and defending.
In the under 17 euros, the three stand out players by a mile for us, where him, Roberts and Gomez, all three look to be progressing through to make it as well, the rs got lucky on getting that lad tbh, but Kenny will go on to be the best of the lot.
