In an ideal world there would be 2 seats in that time machine and Baines would walk out of it hand in hand with Pienaar.

He has been a great gift for us. Another academy boy that has risen to the top. These tough games solidifies his shirt.

I think out of all our young players, he's proved himself the most to be part of the first team. It may sound strange but I class him as a good Hibbert, if you get my meaning Hibbert was good at defending but hadhis limits, this boy has something a bit more about him. See if he can manage a competitive goal for us.

Depending on. His match fitness- a certain Oviedo was never the same after his leg break god forbid - I want to see Shamus in full flow before his return!

He's great isn't he, his body language reminds me very much of Seamus. It'll be superb to have two players genuinely fighting for a position when Seamus is fit again.

He was let down at times by Lennon today. Lennon seemed a bit lethargic at times and we looked exposed at right back. Luckily we never suffered.

Class act today. Come on so much in the 12 games or so he has played for us. If he can be more consistent with his crossing then we have one fine young player.
