Even the best players have bad games. I remember in Martinez 2nd season Coleman making errors the one that springs to mind was at Old Trafford when he gifted Martial the ball. Kenny is not good enough to be first choice RB at the moment but what he is, is the best we've got. We need Coleman back and he can revert to understudy and learn some more. If Coleman comes back the player he was it will mean at least we have one position fully manned with a top class first teamer and decent level back up.

How can anyone judge his attacking ability under this manager??? The man has no idea how to attack.

The only thing you can really point at the manager for regarding Kenny is lumbering him with Lennon or Bolasie in front of him.

Hows he meant to link up with those two when he's had Dowell in the past?

Read it.. He’s not done superb filling a gap. If you think he’s been superb in that respect then so has Cuco Martina..
He’s not shown promise as he has no positive attributes, I’d at least expect him him to have pace or an ability to cross a ball, some others I’d forgive him due to his age.
As for becoming a good full back in the future he lacks too many basics. Simple as that
And here lies the problems with some Evertonians.
The expectations on youngsters to be the next Rooney is madness, Kenny is a good prospect who has done superb in a struggling back 4 and team.
If you can't see this I am not sure what you expect of a young kid thrown in the deep end.

Coleman in his early days was a liability, but patience and guidance has seen him become the player he is.
We need to afford Kenny the same time and patience, as I have no doubt he is our future RB

I dunno. Maybes it's just me. But he appears to be extremely limited in possession, old school balls into the channels constantly giving up possession most of the time, maybes that's what koeman and Sam have told him to do. To me he is mediocre in defence. He was on a number of occasions today and on other occasions this season well behind the defensive line which causes so many problems and resulted in a goal against us today.

I realise the lad is 19 but he ain't showing any real promise of making it. Fundamental mistakes, lack of positional awareness and lack of technical ability all are vastly apparent. I hope he comes good but roll on Seamus's return
yes! yes! yes!

Coleman was loaned out early on and then come back and learnt more. Eventually becoming one of the best right backs in the league.
Kenny has been threw in at the deep end

No one should be going overboard or writing him off based on this season. But it's important that players learn lessons from such poor performances and limit them to a bare minimum. We'v had far too many disastrous individual performances this year and I'm concerned that they keep reoccurring. We need better coaching but players need to take responsibility as well.
