You’ve got a gem mine with all these cracking young players you got coming through and instead a portion of your fans scrutinise and boo them out to someone else. The problem is these fans mushes. They are hurting your club as much as anyone else.

Can't believe I'm reading some of the comments on this and other young players threads. Or the number of likes being given to them.

Why do so many of our fans write off our young players if they aren't premier starting quality by the age of 21.?

Players like Kenny, DCL, Davies et al are not ready to be starting the number of games they are being asked to. They are having to do so because of negligence and poor decision making by our board and management, and are playing because they are the best we have available at the moment. They are also, in my opinion, showing up the senior players whose form and attitude, on the whole, has been little short of disgraceful.

Every single Evertonian should be praising these kids for the way in which they've stepped up to the plate, rather than dissing them off on an internet forum as not being good enough.

Completely agree. When we’ve been in deep trouble the youngsters, including Kenny, have done us proud with the way they’ve stepped up in times of chaos. The senior pro’s are the ones who have been poor. Kenny like all young players need a rest when their form dips, then you bring them back in. He’ll be a very good player for us if we let him develop.

The senior pro’s are the ones who have been poor. Kenny like all young players need a rest when their form dips, then you bring them back in. Yeah it’s disgusting to be honest. Imagine coming into a side with rock bottom moral and in the bottom 3. Then you’re central defensive partnership is constantly changing and senior pro’s are all over the show. Then you finally get a good partnership established with Lennon in front of you and Holgate next to you then the manager who put you into the side is replaced. Then the new manager chucks out the partnership with Lennon and Holgate. Before sticking Holgate back in a few games later and leaving you with Bolasie in front of you. Is it any wonder your form dips a bit!

The thing I like about him is his full on intent to win the ball.
When he can't win it though, that's when he should stop (instead of running past the ball) and just delay the player.
He's young, he'll learn and get better!
