Would it have been better to play Martina on the right and JonJoe on the left as we have seen him give some creditable performances there and Martina might be more comfortable on the right.

But, yes, when Coleman comes back Jon Joe does need to be rested.

He was excellent prior to Christmas.
Something is very, very wrong somewhere in the club. I am not sure throwing money at players will fix it either.
Tom Davies looked a world beater this time last year as a prime example.

It has to be a coaching/tactics issue, but how deep into the club that issue goes is another conundrum. We have had 3 different set ups in the space of 12 months and all have failed to deliver any sort of coherent, exciting football.

I believe part of the problem is Sam started trying different CB combos. For me should stick with Holgate and Keane get them paired and leave out the two oldies. Get an LB and we could start to see a very settled back four.

Hoof far too much. I thought he was instructed to do so by sam but I guess I’m wrong. Hoofing is indeed a major part of his game and his choice.

They pushed up someome high onto him the whole game and it took him out of the game. he needs to push his opponent back the other way ,but he crumbled tonight.

That was, arguably, one of the worst performances I've ever seen from an Everton player.

His positional sense from both an attacking and defending viewpoint is non-existent. He can't cross, he can't pass, he can't defend, he offers nothing.

I don't understand why we can't play Martina in his position, and put Mangala on the left.
