Playing in this team isn't doing him any favours, he looks a different player, shot of confidence, can't wait to get rid of the ball, not what i thought he was about.

We produce a heck of a lot of decent players but there is something fundamentally wrong with the mentality of almost all our youngsters. None of them you can rely on to perform when it's tough away from home. They look scarred when they should have confidence in their own ability. Something seriously is going wrong.

Isn't the answer that you're not supposed to rely on youngsters to perform when it's tough away from home - that's what senior players are for. Or at the very least to the show the youngsters how to deal with it.

To an extent yes of course. But I'd like to see more conviction in our play, especially from youngsters who should have no fear.

Playing for a manager who doesn't believe we can win obviously doesn't help.

I think it's so hard playing in this shambles at the moment, with so little to look up to. I don't think it's a coincidence kenny did better during and shortly after Unsworth was managing as he did at least encourage more of a No fear approach.

If he was the sole youngster coming in to a top team I think he might be playing like a young Gary Neville. Sadly were poisonous right now.

He's young and talented. He and Walcott were just on different pages. I actually thought Walcott made more of the strange decisions, but regardless, it didn't work today.
