This lad must be playing badly in trading not to get a game
He's injured as has been said a few times tonight.
Not all season he hasn't
*Naismith runs 50 yards and ball cannons off foot in to the stands*
“IS RYT NAISY LAD HE PUTS A PYAR SHIFT IN DID YOU KNOW HE DOES A LOT FOR CHARITY BECAUSE HE DOESNT LIKE TO TALK ABOUT IT”
im sure a lot of people at Chelsea wouldn't agree with that
But not talented ones who try to make things happen? Theres more than one kind of bravery in football, it's not all about flying into tackles running around a lot, actually wanting the ball takes a lot more bottle
His progress could have gone better, I wouldn't call it ruined, the four months after xmas were as good as he's played for me, I realise he scored and assisted more in other seasons, but theres a fair bit more to midfielding than that as we all know, and I thought he was actually running games and got us ticking, a shame it's gone this way as it koeman in charge at that point and he appeared to be getting a song out of him, I wouldn't pretend to know whats gone on behind the scenes to get it to this point, but for me it's a massive shame as I love watching the lad play, I mean backheeled through balls!Yeah - so that means Ross is brave, and that's what martinez appreciated as well that whatever happened he still asked for the ball and tried things.
I think 2 things ruined him -
1) Romelu Lukaku (a better positional and more 'intelligent' striker would have suited him better) Rom was excellent but he spent half his time shouting at Ross for not passing to him
2) Someone more pacy - think like more time with Deulofeu, Mirallas, or Lookman, Vlasic, or if we'd have a Walcott type player - fast runners who he can break forward with.
100% mate. Trying to influence a game no matter what's happened earlier is the 'bravest' thing a player can do. It's what makes great players great. But not talented ones who try to make things happen? And sadly we have none!100% mate. Trying to influence a game no matter what's happened earlier is the 'bravest' thing a player can do. It's what makes great players great.
