My experience this season has been that Goodison has been very quiet, but not toxic. There were times in the Martinez years (QPR at home where we won 3-0 and Kiev at home which we also won spring to mind immediately) where the crowd was venomous, but it's been almost resigned this season I think. Yeah theres a bit of moaning and groaning, and some half hearted booing, but it's been dangerously close to apathetic if anything.

I.agree but.it is still a concern. I want him to play but he needs players around him who will play a quick attacking game or he will suffer and look ineffective. Definitely needs somebody infront of him to link with

I think it’s down to a lack of intelligence. Our fans seem to covet players who run about all day but the players who are more calculated and skilful whose contribution might not be so obvious to the mentally less gifted get hounded if they’re not running around like a headless chicken.
