I haven't seen the 2nd goal where everyone says he made a mistake. I was disappointed with the 3rd goal because he should have gone with his foot instead of trying to dive down and use his hands. I've noticed he does that a bit tbh but out of all the things we have issues with, I'm happy with our goalkeeper. Just looks a little rusty which is to be expected after having no pre season

No chance with first or second goals. Him making a mistake with passing out happens. Goalkeepers are expected to play out now a day's. There are at least 6 or 7 players who deserve scorn over their performances before Pickford.

You can’t judge a gk on number of goals conceded as he could be playing behind a Holgate level player so will inevitably be facing more shots, and more goals. Save percentage is the best indicator as it takes that out of the equation.

Ranked 17th for save percentage (66.4%) last season, very ordinary (this season he’s at 56% which is horrific).
Allison ranked 2nd in Europe last season with 76% save percentage.
The paucity of England goalkeepers in the league gave him a chance he otherwise would never have had. His stock was high after the World Cup due to three excellent games, he had a mini Scillachi.

Problem is dave, he never has. It’s always been the MOTD highlight reel saves, his all round goalkeeping is atrocious. Like the Charlie Adam of keepers
