If he improved his attitude from arrogant to mildly annoying that would be progression too.

I really think it's a stretch to call him arrogant.

He clearly gets pent up and passionate but in every interview he does he's extremely humble.

The one time he actually spoke himself up was in the WC after the pen shootout, when it was in response to a question about people criticising him because of his height and not being able to get to things etc.

Excellent and brave stop at 1-0 yesterday, only thing against him in my humble opinion is his height, he doesn't cut an imposing enough figure for me, but by and large he has been a 7.5/10 so far in his EFC career:)

I think the reverse is as true: if you have a confident and dominant keeper behind you it gives the back four a solid foundation to build on.
He's been unfocussed all season. Maybe there was an outstanding contract issue and that's been settled?

Needs to play well every week now it's sorted.

It's more likely that having a different back four every week has meant it's been difficult to get a solid foundation. Is it a coincidence that yesterday's game was the first time we hadn't changed the back four, and also the first time we kept a clean sheet?

Out on the pitch he's arogant. It gets us into trouble.

Yes. We played a terrible team, but one who should have taken the lead in the first half hitting the bar when it was easier to score.

Fulham aren't a terrible team at all.

They have some very good players, and Serri in particular is better than any of our lot.

Pickford did well yesterday. The team as a whole rode their luck in the first half but controlled the second. We got the rub of the green with Fulham missing two good chances, just like Arsenal did against us last week.

Stekelenburg was always going to play last night as he did against Rotherham, really wish Pickford would have played as he is tons better than the dutch statue.
