God forbid but If he makes another mistake next week, oh I fear he may not recover at least for the season, mentally. Let's hope next game he will be fine.

I like the guy a lot. I think he's brilliant.
But, he's literally just cost us losing the Derby. To say otherwise is apologist nonsense. Every single thing Everton done tonight was pretty much in point. Besides his last second? Wtf moment.

We were worth the draw at least, but he denied us it... End of.

Fingers crossed he bounces back like, coz he is brilliant

I can’t believe the knee jerk reactions on here.

Yes, we’re all annoyed that we didn’t get away with a hard earned point today, but Jordan made one mistake. It’s a shame but it’s a fact that when a keeper makes an error it often costs a goal.

However he played well up to that point. If he hadn’t saved from Shaqiri no one would have blamed him, but many would instead be bemoaning the missed chances and blaming the likes of Mina for not taking their chance and scoring so that we could have still walked away with a point.

Our keeper made one error. He was clearly worried by the looping ball and rightly thought it best to get a hand to it rather than hope it clears the bar and hits the roof of the net. If he leaves it and it bounces straight back off the bar and Origi scores you’d still blame him.

He tried to put it out, got it wrong and unfortunately it cost us. He appears to have apologised to his teammates and that shows a certain amount of the humility that too many on here don’t think he has.

Get a grip....it’s one error and he doesn’t make many.

Perhaps there are still some “fans” who miss the good old days of Mimms, Gerard, Wright and Myhre.

Thankfully for the rest of us, things have moved on. Pickford is the best keeper we have had since the early 90’s when mistakes started to creep into the great Nev’s game as age, and weight, caught up with him.

Two of the RS' best keepers made derby cock ups, one of which was very similar to JP's, hell he isn't even the first of our keepers to do so, Gerrard v McAllister in the Easter derby comes to mind. As I've said before 99.99% it bounces over the net into the Kop, this happened to be the 0.01% to the rule. It hurts, and it'll hurt Jordan more but this overreaction from some is borderline pathetic

Two derby catastrophes.

You dont come back from that. This fixture has defined him as a GK already.

No way back.
